Peasant Rules Vanguard Style

Hears just a fun game i came up wit  its loosely based on the Magic the Gathering Peasant  format i hope u like this

Peasant Rules
Description - Peasant means "working class person", Hence, for this Peasant format, only commons, rares (R) and double rares (RR) are legal in the deck. The format is to challenge deck-building and encourage creative play within a budget slightly higher than that of Pauper but lower than normal unrestricted deck construction.Within the deck there are restrictions to the number of RR card that can be used, there can only be 8 RR cards within the deck and these cannot be Grade 3 units or Omni Guards.
Players cannot plays any RRR, RR grade 3's, Omni Guards, SP grade 3's Promo card, Half-deck or Trial Deck card within there decks.SP CardsSP cards can be used in the deck but they will take up 1 of your RR slots Within the deck, the original rarity of the SP must be R or RR as to my knowledge there is not a common that has been printed in SP, and it must not be one of your Grade 3 unit's.ReprintsReprints of Promo cards Within Booster Sets or Extra Boosters are allowed in deck building as they have been re-released and are accessible to everyone for example cards such as Petal Fairy and Purple Trapezist, promo versions of cards even if that have been reprinted in a Booster Set or Extra Booster cannot be used only the Booster version can played. (In Japanese format the example of Petal Fairy and other Promo cards released the English edition Booster Sets and Extra Boosters do not count in this rule.)
Cards that have been printed previously within Booster Sets can also be used but that will keep the same rarity as it was printed before. Example "an RR becomes a R it will still class as an RR therefore taking up an RR slot." Another example "an RR grade 3 becomes an R it still cannot be used as it was originally a RR grade 3." This rule will not come into effect until the release of VG-EB04 Infinite Phantom Legion and VG-EB05 Celestial Valkyries.

i hope u like this fun little blog and as always comment and share this and other blogs.

Infinite Phantom Legion & Celestial Valkyries Alternate Art Cards

As every one might know or not in the up coming extra booster sets VG-BT04 Infinite Phantom Legion and VG-BT05 Celestial Valkyries will feature new alternate art works on popular cards and sort after cards, so far the cards that have been spoiled to have alternate art are CEO Amaterasu, Perfect Riser and Silent Tom, although only Images of CEO Amaterasu and Perfect Riser have been spoiled at the moment but I have a sneaky suspicion that the alternate art for Silent Tom will be the Korean/anime artwork although this is just my opinion, seeing as the Oracle Think Tank booster has 2 alternate artwork I think the Nova Grappler is owed one more card. So let me know what you think of the art I would really like your opinion and what u think the last alternate art work will be for Nova Grappler.

Hear are the link to the sets

Silver Thorn Dragon Tamer, Luquier

One of the most talked about cards released in Set 7 Rampage of the Beastking Silver Thorn Dragon Tamer, Luquier, this unit has has tongs waggling ever since its preview in Japan now it is about to be relaxed in the English format and I wanted to discuss its impact it will have in the format to date, this card infuses the main mechanics of Pale Moon calling units from soul being able to call up to 4 units ( a grade 0, grade 1, grade 2 and a grade 3) in one foul swoop, with the additional of stacking up attack making her a hard hitter and all this is a from a getting +3000 power bonus each time a unit is called from soul until the end of turn, giving her a grand total of 2200 power with the activation of her Limit Brake but it does come with a hefty cost of Counter Blast 3. Hear is the exact wording for her card text.

[ACT](V): Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if u have four or more damage): [Counter Blast (3)] Choose up to one grade 0, grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3 from your soul, and call them to separate Rear-Guard Circle.

[AUTO](V): When one of your is placed on Rear-Guard Circle from your soul, this unit gets Power + 3000 until end of turn.

Cards
Luquier having the power to call units from soul requires a fair bit of Soul Charge as to use her effect at full capacity twice you need to have at least 8 in soul so for the deck to function I suggest using cards such as Big League Bear, Girl Who Crossed the Gap, Skull Juggler, Purple Trapezist and Nitro Magician, there are other cards that also Soul Charge like Accurate Mia, Starting Presenter, Elephant Juggler and Hungry Clown, unlike the others mentioned before I don't personally think these cards work as well as the others as that have a specific cost to use there Soul Charging ability which more then less hinders Luquier, there is one card I have not mentioned which is Dancing Princess of the Nights Sky this card has benefits letting you Soul Charge specific units, and if your running Crimson and Turquoise Beast Tamers allowing you to get one Crimson Tamer in soul allowing you to kick start that engine and having an 11k attacker and a 9k booster to push their more damage putting more pressure on your opponent, but the down side to using Dancing Princess of the Nights Sky is that all this comes at the cost of Counter Blast 1 which in a deck that has such a hefty Counter Blast to activate its Limit Break is this really worth it, at the end of the day this is all down to personal preference. Dusk Magician, Robert makes a fantastic secondary vanguard to Luquier as it giver her another form of soul charge, so that when you eventually play Luquier you have a larger soul pool to choose from when calling rear guards and can also solve the grade 3 problem which I will talk about later I'm the blog, another thing Robert brings is his Mega Blast I'll say you will probably never use it but its an option to consider especially as it can be used while its your rear guard to.
Another card to consider is Pee Ka Boo this unit with its unique ability to keep popping in and out of soul can make Luquier 13k during your turn, with a 8k booster makes her push out for 21k making her hit a milestone damage point to hit 11k vanguards, so long as you have got useless soul to burn away.

Pros
the biggest advantage to running a Luquier based build is the face that you can call a full board of units without burning through your hand, allowing for more flexibility and better game play and guarding becomes much more consistent even though she is only a base 10k vanguard, another good thing is the flexibility with grade 0 units as Pale Moon has 2 trigger units what help with this one being Poison Juggler, if you brought out of soul to the rear guard circle using Luquier's effect it can then be put back into soul using its own effect to give a unit +3000 power, another that can be very beneficial is Sky High Walker same as Poison Juggler it has an offer witch Soul Charges it's self bit instead unflips a flipped damage, making Luquier able to hit off her effect multiple times during one game, there is a disadvantage to this card that I will get to in the other section of this blog, as if mentioned in a previous part of this blog Luquier herself is a bit hitter once you have used her effect she can hit with an impressive 22k alone, if combined with Purple Trapezist if you happen to bring out a weak grade 0 with no effect u can send it back in with Trapezist's effect, and bring out another unit this will not only improve your field it also means that Luquier becomes a 25k pusher for the turn.

Cons
As with all going things there is a bad side, the main bad side to all this is that u cannot control what you Soul Charge so half the time you could be getting rid of triggers or even not soul charging the right grades you need, which will be in most instances be a grade 3, in my experience anyway there has been many a time if had to ride a Luquier over a Luquier just to bring out a grade 3 to the board but, that's not the optimal grade 3 u want you would rather bring out a Midnight Invader or a Dark king of the Pale Moon to give you a 20 to 21k hitter as a rear guard. Another bad thing is that once you have used her effect to capacity and cannot bring anymore units from soul be it that you have no soul left or no Conterblasts, she will be a 10 k vanguard this might not seem a bad thing and its not but as there is not a reliable 10k booster then she wont be hitting out for more then 19k making her hit just under that damage milestone. The last point I'm going to bring up witch I've kinda touched on is her trigger line up' for Luquier being a high attacking build you need to run Draw, Critical and Heal triggers some of u may know what I'm about to say but I am going to say but I'm gonna say it anyway, one of the most useful cards in Luquier's arsenal is Sky high Walker as it makes her more user friendly with cards like Girl Who Crossed the Gap and Dancing Princess of the Nights Sky, but Sky High Walker is a Stand Trigger and a lot of you might be thinking whats the big deal but trust me Luquier works a hell of a lot better with Draw Triggers the she does Stand Triggers tries me if tried both ways.

In conclusion personally I've been play testing with her for a while now and I think she's is a fantastic card despite her disadvantages her plusses out way them making her an excellent card to use as your main vanguard choice, the one thing I will say to people wanting to use cards like Nightmare Doll Alice, Mirror Demon and Midnight Bunny I would advise against this, Luquier is already a heavy Counter Blasting unit putting units that are Counterblast heavy them selves in will kill the deck completely, if you wanna run an Alice deck then use Sword Magician, Sara as your main vanguard and then you have access to Stand Triggers as well making them more useful to pressure your opponent.

Anyway I hope u liked this post comment, subscribe and share with others see ya later <(^_^)>

Sephirot Ride Chain

I suppose we have all seen the new Neo Nectar ride change in the upcoming set 8 Blue Storm Armada, the chain that give such advantage from just riding to the next grade in its evolution and if u don't know what I'm talking about then its the Arboros Dragon, Sephirot chain.

The chain consists of Arboros Dragon, Ration (grade 0), Arboros Dragon, Branch (grade 1) Arboros Dragon, Timber (grade 2) and Arboros Dragon, Sephirot (grade 3). The chains base ability is to give u advantage through riding by essentially letting u bring a copy of an already existing Neo Nectar unit from your deck, the grade 1 and 2 both have this ability essentially giving u a plus 2 and filling up your circle with more units for a push or just a boost the text on both cards reads as followed "[AUTO]: When a card named (insert name hear) rides this unit, if you have a card named (insert name hear) in your soul, choose one of your <<Neo Nectar>> rear-guards, search your deck for up to one card with the same name as that unit, call it to (RC), and shuffle your deck".

The other thing this deck has is that why u do gain field advantage through calling same units from deck u also get another and that comes in the effect of the big gun himself Arboros Dragon, Sephirot his limit break ability makes this advantage all the more sweeter, as there is an even bigger advantage to having same name units on the field this comes in the form of the units getting a +3000 boost which with the right field setup can have your rear guards pushing out for a grand total of 2500 but I'll talk more about fields set up and optimal usage later in the blog hear is what the card text reads as "[CONT](VC): Limit Brake 4 (this ability is active if u have four or more damage): All your << Neo Nectar>> have: "[CONT](VC/RC): During your turn, if there is a unit with the same name as this unit in your (VC) or (RC), this unit gets [Power]+3000".

Advantage / Optimal Board
As I have already mentioned the advantages of the chan plussing the board with copy's of Neo Nectars and giving though units an additional +3000 boost in power during your turn, now I'm going to discuss the cards witch work best in this deck for this unit as of this blog there may be more cards added to the used that won't be in this blog but I will and another blog with though updates if any are made' firstly as for an optimal secondary vanguard to Sephirot this comes in the form of Maiden of Trailing Rose, as a vanguard she is a good choice as if u cant get in to your optimal grade 3 unit being Sephirot she gives u another 11k vanguard to play with (of course Sephirot is brace 10 but 11 with grade 2 in soul) she not only brins u a powerful vanguard she also gives u her Persona Blast to give u more field advantage with a additional cost Counter Blast 1 in a deck that doesn't counter blast heavily, another good thing about this unit is as a rear guard she is still an 11 k attacker and with anther copy of herself and two 8k vanilla's boosting watch over them then they can be pushing out for a hardy 25k swing with Sephirot as vanguard, another 25k push can be achieved by having Hay Yo Pinappleo in place of Maiden this also gives u an interceptor to boot, another good cards to consider is Glass Beads Dragon and Maiden of Rainbow Wood they are primarily the same card with a different name it just depends what art u like better, in a deck which does not Counter Blast apart from Maiden of Training Rose these are a fantastic addition, if u have one of these on the board and two 8k boosters that can hit for 20k and that swinging at a rear guard most of the time that will not block so technically its a draw for you.

Disadvantage
This like so many other changes come with a disadvantage not only through not riding the correct members of the chain and not getting any of the advantages, or missing the grade 2 ride and having a 10k instead of an 11k vanguard but it can also occur from your hand and field, the biggest of these is your first turn if u open up with a run of grade 1-3 after riding in your vanguard and looking at top 7 but u don't have another grade 1 in hand or UV got a Omni Guard / trigger which u won't want to put on the board, then u will miss out on gaining the additional unit on the ride to grade 2, the last disadvantage is that why u might have Sephirot as vanguard and at Limit Break u might not have any same name units on the board which renders his effect useless. Also another disadvantage to anyone playing the English version of vanguard like me (sadface) is that this deck like other the Musketeer deck won't be playable in tournament as we don't have set 5 so are missing Omni guards and other

support. Anyway hope this helps and see u next time, leave comments below, discuss the topic and share with friends <(^_^)>
